When he got off the ferry, which only runs a few times a day, he met a girl. With her hair playing in the sea breeze, she simply gazed off into the distance… at the boundary between the sea and the sky. Before she knew it, the girl had gone somewhere, and Haori, feeling like she had been picked by a fox, headed to her grandmother’s house. A relative, an aunt, was already there, and she was sorting through her belongings. While helping to clean up her grandmother’s memorabilia, she is confused but adapts to her first experience with island life.
