It has been decided that the TV anime of “Futari Solo Camp”, which will be broadcast as a live-action drama on TOKYO MX from January 9th, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels in July 2025, and the teaser KV and teaser PV have been released. . This work is about Gen Kinokura, a solo camper who loves solitude, who was enjoying solo camping as usual, when he unexpectedly encounters Shizuku Kusano, a beginner camper, and unexpectedly ends up going solo camping together. The story begins with what happens. The cast who will play the two characters in this work have been decided. It has been decided that Daiki Hamano will play the role of Gen Kinokura, the main character of this work, who is a true solo camper, and Mizuki Shinzaki will play Shizuku Kusano, who is a beginner at solo camping and half-forcedly offers to be his apprentice. Hamano comments that he loves people who are passionate about something and people who are honest, so it was a lot of fun to play Mr. Gen. Shinsaki commented on his desire to learn about camping together with Shizuku. As his name suggests, Mr. Gen is a stubborn man. Although he is clumsy when it comes to interpersonal relationships, he is more passionate than most when it comes to camping and has a strong commitment. In order to play him, I was conscious of the slightly old-fashioned, “Showa-era old man” feel, but I also took care to portray him as an attractive man who lives his life with hobbies and romance. I love people who are passionate about something and honest people, so it’s really fun to play Mr. Gen. My memories of camping include the Mt. Tsukuba camp I went to as a school event in junior high school…the survival camp I went to in the Blue Mountains when I was in high school living in Sydney…not solo camping, but both are memorable. I am. At Mt. Tsukuba, all grades gather around a campfire and have fun doing things…At high school camps, students bring their own food, tableware, and camping kit for five days, and decide on the route from the start to the destination. So I did some survival. Both are very fond memories. Since there are many scenes with only a few characters, the recording sessions are very intimate, like family members. Led by Mr. Shimura from NA and Mr. Shiro who is the dialect instructor, we all had a great time and said things like “I want to go camping like this” and “I want to eat this kind of food,” but they were especially serious about the work and acting, every word. At the audition, I was drawn to the title and found out about the work, and I was so excited, thinking, “I can enjoy camping and cooking knowledge all at once!” Actually, I’ve never been indoor camping before, so I’m going to work with Shizuku to learn more about camping. Shizuku can be a bit pushy, but she is a very hard-working and obedient child. So, I also showed my utmost honesty. I would be happy if you could enjoy watching Shizuku grow through this work.
