Characteristics: The butterfly-tail goldfish is native to China and features a tail fin resembling a butterfly with its wings spread. Its protruding eyes are very similar to those of the Demekin. It also comes in a wide variety of body colors, including chintz and calico. It swims leisurely in shallow tanks with gentle currents. Their distinctive features can be best seen from above, and our museum offers a “top-down” viewing experience during our “New Goldfish Appraisal.” The Art Aquarium Museum is home to a wide variety of goldfish with diverse personalities.
