The latest issue commemorating the 25th anniversary of “Y-Junction,” a large-scale anthology of his works, and related merchandise will be on sale, and there will also be a talk event on Thursday, September 18th. This exhibition features over 100 works that represent this transition, from the pop-psychedelic graphic works of the 1960s, to the spiritual and symbolic collages of the 1970s, to the painterly expressions of the 1980s and beyond. The aesthetic sense and social atmosphere of the era are embodied in the “mass-produced art” of record and CD jackets. Experience this special space, where each piece resonates as a “visual experience” that transcends music. This exhibition was planned as a “cultural hub for adults,” aiming to organically fuse music and art. Tadanori Yokoo’s record jackets truly represent the intersection of these two cultural realms. Through this project, we hope to encourage visitors to rediscover the artistic allure hidden within the familiar object of record jackets and bring a new perspective to the beauty found in everyday life.
