Hibino Co., Ltd. Press release: August 28, 2025 To Members of the Press Hibino has become the first in Japan to introduce PIXELHUE’s 4K presentation switcher “Q8,” equipped with real-time video processing capabilities. Strengthening video systems for increasingly large-scale concerts and events ~”Q8″ Workshop to be held at Hibino Immersive Entertainment Lab on August 4th and 5th~ Hibino Corporation
(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akihisa Hibino) has been the first in Japan to install the PIXELHUE Q8
high-performance 4K presentation switcher, which will be imported and sold by our group company, Techno House Co., Ltd., since August 2025. The Q8’s ability to accurately process multiple high-resolution video signals in real time with low latency enables advanced visual effects for large-scale concerts and events, such as stadiums and domes. With this installation, we will expand our lineup of equipment and strengthen our ability to provide the optimal video system based on the scale and requirements of the production.

development system PIXELHUE’s flagship model, the “Q8,” supports up to 48 simultaneous 4K inputs and 16 simultaneous 4K outputs, enabling real-time processing of massive amounts of video data with low latency (just one frame). It also supports up to 32 4K mixing layers, enabling flexible implementation of complex layouts. Prior to considering the introduction of the “Q8,” we initially deployed the company’s standard model, the “P20,” to confirm its performance and operability. Based on the proven track record of the “P20” achieved through actual on-site operation, we began testing the introduction of the “Q8.” We then conducted extensive testing of image quality and operation at our “Hibino Immersive Entertainment Lab,” our research and development center for new entertainment experiences. After evaluating its performance and reliability in actual stadium-class on-site operation, we decided to introduce it. In addition, as a group company of NovaStar Tech Co., Ltd., one of the world’s leading Chinese LED processor manufacturers, PIXELHUE has a stable development system based on the group’s technical resources. The expectation of continuous product development and support was another reason for the company’s selection. Hibino Visual Group Director and Executive Vice President, Junichi Imokawa “The Hibino Group has a division that has built strong partnerships with overseas manufacturers and imports and sells carefully selected, high-quality professional video equipment. Meanwhile, our Concert & Event Services Division operates this equipment on the front lines of entertainment. By collaborating with these two divisions, we can improve quality by providing feedback to manufacturers on the experience and know-how gained from on-site operations, and by utilizing this knowledge in the selection of new products that meet the demands of the next generation. By improving our equipment supply and operational capabilities, we will be able to provide our customers with higher-quality products and services.” “By introducing the industry-leading Q8, we hope to present new equipment options and expand the possibilities for video production at concerts and events.” About PIXELHUE PIXELHUE is a Chinese manufacturer of video processing equipment founded in 2017. We develop, manufacture, and sell a wide range of products, including switchers and scalers, and provide comprehensive after-sales support through our unique training programs. Approximately half of our employees are involved in research and development, and we are committed to developing cutting-edge technologies. For the Japanese market, we have built a support team of 20 people, including both full-time and part-time staff, with the aim of providing detailed support to our customers. Furthermore, we plan to open a Tokyo showroom in fiscal 2025, further expanding our services. “Q8” Workshop to be held at Hibino Immersive Entertainment Lab August 4th and 5th, Hibino A workshop for “Q8” was held at the Immersive Entertainment Lab (hereinafter referred to as the Lab). The Lab used our company’s ROE Visual “Topaz-C1.9” to set up a large LED display system measuring 22.5m wide x 4m high (equivalent to three 4K screens). Taking advantage of the characteristic of the “Topaz-C1.9” that the panel itself is curved, the design incorporated curves. At the workshop, we introduced the specifications of “Q8” and its installation history both in Japan and overseas, along with video footage.
