Takane no Nadeshiko, an idol group sound-produced by the creative unit HoneyWorks, held their solo concert “TAKANE NO NADESHIKO LIVE 2025 SUMMER in SEOUL” in Seoul on Sunday, August 24th. Following their performances in Guangzhou and Shanghai in June, the members shared their joy at being able to hold a sold-out concert in Seoul with their fans through their performance. Here’s an official report on the passionate evening performance.

The opening of the concert with a message-filled song, beginning with a solo part by Momoko Hashimoto, was a novel attempt. The music video was projected on the screen, and the synchronization of the video and performance further touched the hearts of the fans. Continuing the heat, the following anthem-like song, “Proud Idol,” had the crowd fired up with the same unified calls as in Japan. The audience then spent the time listening to the nine members’ harmonies and the unique vocals they displayed during their solo parts in “Idol Costume” and “I Can’t Be You.” The members also charmingly greeted the audience in Korean, with Miku Hoshitani saying, “I’ve been talking about wanting to go to Seoul with Takaneko, so I’m so happy to finally see everyone’s faces. Love you!” The group returned to the stage with “Hatsukoi no Hito.” Matsumoto Momona’s opening solo elicited a particularly loud cheer of “Momona!” from the audience, captivated by the members’ performance of heartbreaking yet pure emotions. As the nine members performed the sweet and cute melodies of “Melancholic Honey” and “Heroine wa Average Below Average,” with a touch of cuteness, the fans’ voices from the floor grew ever more enthusiastic. They continued with youthful love songs like “Otomedomo yo” and “Hatsukoi no Koi no Kotae,” further bringing the members closer to the fans. The dance, performed with the music video for “Hatsukoi no Koi no Kotae” playing in the background, further enhanced the refreshing feeling of this summer song. Image

Fans took their time taking photos and videos of the members engaging in fan service, singing “Kawaii Kute Gomen,” which became a hit overseas through TikTok, and “Cute for Life,” one of the cutest and most cunning songs in Takamine no Nadeshiko’s history. The final sprint, which began with “LOVE ANTHEM,” heated up with a series of fast-paced songs.

Takamine no Nadeshiko!” during “Adrenaline Game” further raised the excitement. The following song, “Kessen Spirit,” also began with a powerful solo by Himeri Momiyama. The band members urged the audience to “Jump!”, and the fans responded with jumps and enthusiastic calls. During the chorus, both the stage and audience raised their fists in unison, singing “Wow Wow” in powerful harmony. Then they performed last year’s major debut single “Utsukushiku Ikiro,” a song about their
determination to remain proud idols. With a performance that seemed to express their feelings about being able to perform their first live show in Seoul, the main part of the show ended with the same enthusiasm as in Japan. In response to fans’ calls for an encore, the nine members reunited on stage and once again enthralled the fans with “A World Where We Know Love.” Then, Suzumi Suu said, “I was so happy with the loud cheers and calls from all the fans. Thank you!” A “Suuu!” erupted from the floor.

Sound production is handled by HoneyWorks, a creator unit active mainly on video sharing sites such as Nico Nico Douga and YouTube, whose related videos have been viewed over 2.5 billion times. They aim to be a proud idol group that is admired by many but unattainable, like a flower out of reach, yet possesses the pure beauty and cuteness of Japanese women, like a Yamato Nadeshiko. In November 2022, she released an official cover music video of HoneyWorks’ “Kawaii-kute Gomen” on YouTube, which has been viewed over 24.02 million times (※). She has also released numerous original songs, with a total of over 200 million views on TikTok (※). She made her major debut on February 21, 2024, with “Utsukushii Ikiro/Koi wo Shita Sekai” (Live Beautifully/The World Where We Know Love) from Victor Entertainment. She released her second single, “I’M YOUR IDOL / Adrenaline Game,” on December 11. Their first solo concerts, held in Guangzhou and Shanghai in June 2025 and in Seoul in August, were a huge success, with tickets selling out for all shows and a total audience of approximately 3,200. The group is scheduled to hold its largest solo concert to date at Makuhari Messe Makuhari Event Hall in September. They are affiliated with Twin Planet. *As of August 2025
