The earliest screening of the main footage from “Ensemble Stars! THE STAGE” -Desperate Checkmate- will be streamed on Niconico Live Broadcasting starting at 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025. “Ensemble Stars! THE STAGE” is a stage adaptation of the smartphone game app “Ensemble Stars!”. Since its premiere in 2016 with “Ensemble Stars! On Stage,” the series has expanded on the in-game story and live performances. The idols’ growth and transformation are depicted through the realistic production and live performances unique to the stage. “Ensemble Stars!”, released in April 2015, is a smartphone game that depicts the growth and reform of idols at Yumenosaki Private Academy, a school specializing in the development of male idols. In March 2020, it was rebranded as “Ensemble Stars!!” with two app versions, “Basic” and “Music,” allowing players to choose based on their play style. The game has now surpassed 19 million downloads. The series will celebrate its 10th anniversary in April 2025, and the story unfolds with a total of 54 unique idols.
