We interviewed Sakurai Haruna, who plays the heroine Hirose Kanami. ■Interview Please tell us about your enthusiasm before the recording. I’m really nervous, but this is my first time recording freely and the way I want to, so I hope I can have fun recording while imagining the scenes and feelings. Please tell us your impressions of the recording. This was the first time I was able to record with a microphone (KU100) that I could clearly hear, and I thought it was really fun. I felt that Kanami and I had a lot in common, so I recorded the scene imagining how excited I would be if I had this kind of free time after school when I was a university student. Was there anything you kept in mind when acting in this role? I tried to avoid being too stiff. I tried to keep it as natural as possible, so that I could express my inner feelings and honest emotions. Did you feel any similarities between you and the character you played this time, “Kanami”? First of all, I thought our personalities were very similar. I’m not usually the type to actively interact with people, but I do try to be proactive and strike up a conversation with people I’d like to become friends with. Also, we had similar hobbies and interests. I also like idol songs and musical music, so I felt a strong connection with her. If you were to appear in ASMR or audio works in the future, are there any characters or situations you would like to try? I think it would be fun to try a character that’s completely different from me. Also, now that I’ve started dating Kanami-chan, I guess you could say we, or rather, the listeners (lol) I thought it would be great if you could talk about your daily relationship and what happened after you started dating. Finally, please give a message to your fans. I did my best to play the role of Kanami. I would be delighted if you could find some time in your daily life to relax and enjoy Kanami-chan.
