From her serious expression during meetings, she completely changed into a smile throughout the shoot, performing light-heartedly, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. When asked about her first impression of Namabee, Yoshine laughed and said, “A blue…fish…cute!” The dialogue between her and Namabee was also perfect. There were also many scenes during filming where she looked directly into the camera and addressed the viewers, and her expressions were so convincing that you could almost be drawn into her eyes. CM interview excerpt ■Please tell us your impressions of the commercial shoot and what the highlights of the commercial are. The atmosphere on set was bright and fun. I tried to be conscious of conveying the fun through my movements and expressions. One of the highlights of this commercial is the interaction between the two of them and “Namabee,” their only co-star, so I hope you enjoy their great chemistry. ■Has your own awareness of disaster prevention changed since appearing in the earthquake insurance commercial? I once again asked myself, “Do I have earthquake insurance?” and I also reevaluated my disaster preparedness backpack. Then, I realized that the water I had bought in large quantities and thought was safe was about to expire, so I bought some more. I had assumed that it was okay just because I had it on hand, but this experience made me realize that it’s important to review it regularly. ■As an actor, what is the first preparation you make before starting a work? In line with the saying, “Everyone, first get earthquake insurance,” please tell us “first of all, ____.” “First, experience.” While I inevitably spend a lot of time at home thinking about the script, I try to get out and experience it with my body whenever possible. For example, if I’m playing a specialized role, I’ll go and experience it or talk to someone who actually plays the role. I try to see with my eyes, hear with my ears, and feel with my skin as much as possible. ■Speaking of preparations, in recent years, the scorching heat has continued into September and October almost every year. Is there anything you do to “prepare” to avoid summer fatigue, heat, or fatigue from the lingering heat? I try to pay attention to my diet. My refrigerator is always full of summer vegetables, so I try to incorporate seasonal vegetables as much as possible, such as grilling eggplant or zucchini and topping it on curry. I also try to keep raw vegetables like lettuce, cucumber, and tomato on hand so I can eat them even when I don’t have much of an appetite.

In the 30-second web commercial, Yoshine takes on an earthquake quiz posed by Namabee, and becomes aware of various facts related to earthquakes. Just like in the TV commercial, be sure to check out the light-hearted banter between Yoshine and Namabee. ■WEBCM “Everyone, First, Earthquake Insurance ~Earthquake Quiz~” URL: https://youtu.be/Uvu2T1q8u2A Namabee asks Yoshine, “How many earthquakes occur in Japan each year?” Yoshine is surprised to learn that the number is far greater than she had expected, and appears to have realized once again the importance of preparing for earthquakes with earthquake insurance. Furthermore, when asked, “What costs would it cost if you were affected by an
earthquake?” Yoshine is shown thinking about the costs of rebuilding one’s life after a disaster, not just the cost of repairing one’s home. This video conveys the importance of earthquake insurance, which can “protect your life after an earthquake.”

https://www.jishinhoken.jp/ad/ *Scheduled to be released on Friday, August 29 Earthquake Insurance Overview – This insurance is based on the Earthquake Insurance Act enacted in 1966. It is jointly operated by the government and non-life insurance companies with the aim of promoting earthquake insurance and contributing to the stability of disaster victims’ lives. Coverage and premiums are the same regardless of which non-life insurance company or agency you purchase through. – Insurance pays for damage (fire, destruction, burial, and loss) to residential buildings and the belongings inside due to earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or resulting tsunamis. These types of damage are not covered by fire insurance, so earthquake insurance is required. – Earthquake insurance cannot be purchased alone; it must be purchased together with fire insurance. Earthquake insurance can be purchased even if you are in the middle of a fire insurance contract. – Earthquake insurance coverage rates (※) can be confirmed via the URL below or the QR code on the right.
