Ahead of their long-awaited comeback tour after nearly 15 years, this special capsule collection was created, drawing inspiration from the band’s legacy and the fashion of the 1990s, the decade they made their breakthrough. Oasis and Paul Smith, both pioneers in their respective fields, are iconic figures in British culture. Their connection has endured for many years, and one particular symbolic connection is a suit. Noel Gallagher wore a Paul Smith suit on the cover of Oasis’ debut album, “Definitely Maybe” (1994). He still owns the suit, which was featured in the “A Frame Around a Picture: Dressing the Greats” exhibition held at the Melrose Avenue store in Los Angeles last year. The collection features a wide range of items, including graphic tees, striped tees, caps, bags, and outerwear. In addition to prints and embroidery featuring lyrics and titles from classic songs, there are also special designs combining the Oasis logo with Paul Smith’s signature stripes.
