The actual book and nail oil packaging may differ slightly. “All About Love,” a collection of tanka poems originally serialized in the magazine Numero TOKYO, has collaborated with the total beauty company, uka. uka will release a limited edition nail oil in limited edition packaging on Friday, September 19, 2025. “Everything About Love” is a book that adds new writing to the tanka poem series in the magazine “Numero TOKYO” by author Kudo Rain and poet Someno Taro, which tackled the theme of “love.” The simple yet profound words they weave have a sense of realism that makes you feel the sounds, smells, and even humidity, depicting a world that is like a scene from a movie. This collaboration features two types of “uka nail oil” featuring Kudo and Someno’s favorite scents, released in limited-edition packaging that matches the cover of the tanka collection. Additionally, the packaging includes a strip of tanka poetry written by Kudo and Someno inspired by the scent of the nail oil. From the classic nail oils, Kudo and Someno chose “7:15,” with its refreshing scent of yuzu and cypress, and “24:45,” with its sweet, dreamy scent of lavender and vanilla that will bring you a sense of happiness. The packaging and tanzaku were designed by graphic designer Seigo Kitaoka, who also designed the cover of the tanka collection “All About Love.” You can enjoy the world of the tanka collection in this nail oil. To commemorate this collaboration, a special talk show will be held exclusively for those who purchase the tanka collection and nail oil set. Someno Taro Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1977. Currently lives in Osaka Prefecture. Poet. Joined the tanka poetry society “Mahiruno” as a high school student.
