KIDDIHUB EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY (Hanoi; CEO: Vu Van), the Vietnam branch of IC Net Co., Ltd. (Saitama; CEO: Kenji Hyakuta; hereinafter “IC Net”), a group company of Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd. (Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Miyahara). ▲Scenes from the signing ceremony ■”Co-creation of Learning” Project: Expanding the Roots of Music Culture in Vietnam This initiative is a “co-creation of learning” that was realized by combining YMVN’s passion to “expand the reach of music culture throughout Vietnam from early childhood education settings” with the principles of the Gakken STEAM Program (GSP), which KiddiHub is developing together with Gakken. GSP has been providing exploratory learning to kindergartens and daycare centers through a curriculum of science, programming, and numbers. The addition of Yamaha’s music school curriculum will help develop children’s “powers of perception,” “powers of expression,” and “powers of collaboration.” The program targets children aged 3 to 6. Instructors will be dispatched on an annual contract basis to teach during regular childcare hours. Gakken STEAM
Program *Gakken STEAM Program (GSP): A program offering “science,” “programming,” and “math” classes once a week for children ages 3 to 6. Instructors are KiddiHub coaches or kindergarten teachers who have completed KiddiHub training. Through GSP, children acquire essential skills for surviving in the modern world, such as logical thinking, problem-solving, concentration, social skills, and cooperation.

To more accurately understand these needs, YMVN utilized KiddiHub’s Vietnam Business Expansion Support Service to conduct surveys and interviews with kindergarten managers and parents. We visited several local kindergartens and daycare centers to carefully gather real feedback, focusing on questions such as, “What kind of curriculum can be incorporated into childcare settings?” and “What kind of development do parents expect from music education in their children?” We also conducted an online survey of parents registered on KiddiHub’s review site. By distributing the survey to parents in rural areas as well as urban areas in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we were able to receive responses from parents throughout Vietnam. We developed the curriculum in response to local needs, from the content of the curriculum to operational aspects such as monthly tuition rates, class hours, and target student populations, as well as parents’ desire for their children to develop spiritual richness through music.

The children’s eyes lit up as they touched the instruments, moved their bodies, and enjoyed the music with their whole bodies during the lively lessons taught by YMVN instructors. Meanwhile, YMVN, KiddiHub, and the kindergarten came together to discuss how to improve how childcare workers support children and balance the curriculum with their daily care. Image

curriculum. These centers will begin implementing the curriculum in September 2025, the start of the new school term. Lessons will soon begin, allowing children to express themselves through sound and rhythm and synchronize their breathing with their peers. We also envision building a sustainable educational and cultural cycle in which young children who become familiar with music through GSP may attend Yamaha music classes or even purchase musical instruments. This initiative marks a good example of collaboration with a Japanese company leveraging KiddiHub’s customer base and network. We will continue to leverage KiddiHub’s strengths to provide a wide range of support to Japanese companies operating in Vietnam, from market research to sales and marketing support and market development. ■From Yamaha Music Vietnam Company Limited President Nobuhiko Adachi Alongside the current surge in interest in education, the
extracurricular activities market in Vietnam is expanding. In this environment, we feel extremely encouraged to be collaborating with KiddiHub, which has been leading the way in expanding GSP to kindergartens and daycare centers. We will expand our business by providing Japanese educational content with a proven track record globally and differentiating ourselves in the highly competitive extracurricular learning market. ■From KiddiHub CEO Vu Van Tung Ever since we first met with YMVN and exchanged ideas about early childhood education, we have been looking forward to the day when we could work with them to develop a music curriculum in Vietnam. Currently, GSP offers three curricula: science, programming, and mathematics, but we felt the need to add an arts curriculum. “We are honored to be able to add Yamaha’s music curriculum, which has a long history and proven track record in Japan, to GSP. As with our existing curriculum, we aim to foster children’s natural interest in music and their creativity through fun activities. Leveraging the experience we have cultivated in the Vietnamese market, we will work with YMVN to bring this music curriculum to more children and provide even greater value to Vietnamese education.”
