Cream Stew’s Teppei Arita’s dream comes true! A ramen festival is being held in his hometown of Kumamoto! Kumamoto Prefectural Television Co., Ltd. will be holding the Arita Ramen Festival at Hanabata Square in the heart of Kumamoto City over the three-day weekend of Saturday, November 22nd, Sunday, November 23rd, and Monday, November 24th, 2025! Currently, “Cream Stew’s Kumamoto Dogyan!?” is broadcast on Kumamoto Prefectural Television as a prime-time program every Friday night at 7 p.m. (Kumamoto local). Ramen lover Teppei Arita began his project, “The Road to the Arita Ramen Festival,” with the goal of hosting a ramen festival in Kumamoto. So far, the program has visited 17 ramen shops in Kumamoto Prefecture and discovered some amazing bowls of ramen. About a year has passed since the program began, and the time has finally come to make our long-awaited Kumamoto ramen festival a reality! A total of 10 ramen shops, including 7 Kumamoto ramen shops that people across the country should try and 3 ramen shops from all over Japan that Kumamoto residents should try, selected by Teppei Arita, will come together to hold an event that will liven up the ramen world from Kumamoto, the Land of Fire. The event aims to bring together many people from all over Japan to Cream Stew’s hometown of Kumamoto, where they can once again experience the wonders of ramen.
