i-dle, the five-member global girl group currently garnering the most attention, will release their first JAPAN EP, “i-dle,” on Friday, October 3, 2025. The visuals and CD jacket design for “i-dle,” shot in Japan, have now been released. The released artwork features a fresh vintage feel that evokes the 80s-00s vibe, leaping beyond Y2K. It’s a worldview that sublimates Japanese culture in the i-dle style, bringing out a different charm from their previous image. The tracklist was also released at the same time. The album includes the lead track “What Should I Do?”, written by Soyeon, the all-Japanese ballad “See You Forever to the World I Couldn’t Love,” three completely new songs including “Invincible,” the Japanese version of the smash hit “Fate,” “Because I Hate Getting Hurt,” and “Queencard (Japanese ver.),” for a total of five tracks. This EP gives you a taste of both i-dle’s past and future. Currently, a Preadd/Presave campaign has started, where anyone who pre-orders JAPAN’s first EP “i-dle” on Apple Music or Spotify during the campaign period will receive a free download of an “i-dle special image.” In October, i-dle will be holding their “i-dle first Japan tour (tentative title)” in two cities: Saitama Super Arena in Saitama and GLION ARENA KOBE in Hyogo. [Artist information] ■i-dle (pronounced: Idol) As a global girl group from Korea, they debuted in Korea in May 2018 and made their major debut in Japan in July 2019. Upon their debut, they won nine rookie awards and have attracted attention both in Korea and overseas for their musicality and self-production skills. Since 2022, they have recorded numerous hits, including “TOMBOY,” “Nxde,” and “Queencard.” They have a total of 10 videos on YouTube, including one performance video with over 100 million views and nine music videos. Their second full-length album, “2,” released in 2024, sold over 1.53 million copies in its first week and successfully completed a world tour, including a performance in Japan. In May 2025, the group launched under the name “i-dle” and released their 8th mini-album, “We are.” In August of the same year, they performed at “SUMMER SONIC 2025,” and in October, they released their first JAPAN EP, “i-dle,” and are planning their largest-ever Japan tour.
