Starting Monday, September 1, 2025, Ikuta Shrine (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) will be offering six autumn-only goshuin stamps, including two types of paper-cut goshuin stamps and a Shiki (four-shine) goshuin stamp. 1. About the September 2025 Limited Edition Goshuin Starting Monday, September 1, 2025, Ikuta Shrine (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), known as the “Shrine of Bonds and Nurturing,” will be offering six autumn-only goshuin stamps, including two types of paper-cut goshuin stamps and a Shiki (four-shine) goshuin stamp.

In the first year of the reign of Empress Jingu (201 AD), on the way back from the Three Kingdoms of Korea, the ship stalled off the coast of what is now Kobe Port. When the goddess Wakahirume appeared and declared, “I wish to stay in Ikuta Chokyo Province,” the shrine was then enshrined by the goddess Isogasagi. She is widely revered as the guardian deity of Kobe, and is said to grant blessings such as matchmaking, good health and longevity, business prosperity, and household safety, as well as romantic success and safe childbirth.
