The newly released music video is their first animated work, featuring footage of the band singing and dancing in various locations, designed by illustrator Shoko Nagamine, who also creates illustrations for FRUITS ZIPPER’s LINE stamps. Based on the concept of “From Harajuku to the World,” they aim to spread “NEW KAWAII” from Harajuku, a fashion district brimming with diverse culture and unique personalities. Her second single, “Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro,” released digitally in April 2022, attracted attention on TikTok, especially among Gen Z, garnering approximately 2.8 billion views on TikTok and over 54 million views on the music video. In September 2023, she released her first CD single, “Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro,” which ranked third on Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales and debuted at fourth place on Oricon’s weekly singles rankings. In December 2023, she won the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist. In May 2024, the group celebrated their second anniversary with a two-day solo concert at Nippon Budokan, attracting approximately 24,000 fans. In December, “NEW KAWAII” won the Outstanding Work Award at the Japan Record Awards.
