Six couples formed—the most in the series’ history—appeared in public for the first time, and the event, with a 10-to-1 application ratio, generated a huge buzz. ■What is “Shuffle Island Season 6”? In this original ABEMA romance reality show, handsome men and women in swimsuits, boasting stunning physiques, strip off their armor and gather on two islands in Fiji, a “tropical paradise.” Under the rule that they must “shuffle” (switch) the members on the two “pink” and “blue” islands every day, they “shuffle” between the islands and fall in love instinctively. The highlight of the show is the bold and passionate romances of the participants, whose desires and jealousies become intertwined amidst a series of unpredictable encounters and partings. The series has a cumulative viewership of 250 million, boasting explosive popularity that has become a “summer tradition” on ABEMA. In addition, the show’s MCs will continue to be the same as last season: comedian Hiromasa Yashiki of New York, talent Minami Minegishi, and talent Yuki Kimura, also known as “Yuki Poyo.” Additionally, actor Fuku Suzuki will be joining the show as a new MC this season, marking his first time hosting a romance reality show. ■ New dad and Reiwa Roman Matsui Kemuri, who served as the event MC, said, “I’m going to stop my son from appearing on such a cheerful show (lol).” “Behind-the-scenes stories” continue: “There were Nubras lying around on set that no one knew who was wearing (lol)” and “One couple has been seeing each other every day since returning to Japan.”

I wouldn’t let him get a passport (so he wouldn’t be able to participate in overseas location shoots) (laughs).” He also revealed the parental feelings of a “new father” by saying, “First of all, I wonder if my child will grow up to be a cheerful man who can appear on the show.” Also, in reference to the show, when asked by the other participants about his “strengths in love,” Matsui emphasized, “overwhelming financial power,” which drew laughter from the audience. In addition, this event will bring together 16 participants from “Shuffle Island Season 6,” who threw themselves into portraying a burning love story like the midsummer sun, including a record 40 kissing scenes, the most in the history of an “ABEMA” romance reality show. “Behind the scenes stories” that can only be heard here were also revealed one after another, with K-1 round girl Kaho revealing the behind-the-scenes story of the show, where the members appear in swimsuits, saying, “On set, there were a lot of Nubras lying around that I didn’t know who they belonged to (laughs).” Also, “nuts” model AN pointed out Ayuto, who also participated in the audition “timelesz project,” saying, “Ayuto is super funny when the cameras aren’t rolling, but once the cameras are, he suddenly becomes gentle…” Matsui couldn’t help but chime in, saying, “Do you have a double side?
