I consider it a miracle that we’ve all been able to be together for the past two years, so I hope this concert will convey my gratitude to everyone who helped create that miracle.” She delivered a straightforward message to the audience. Ai Kinoshita, whose final solo concert before the group’s hiatus marks the group’s final time together, expressed her special feelings about the concert, saying, “Today is a special day for all 23 of us. Up until now, we’ve always been together, even through difficult and sad times, and we’ve always pushed forward toward our shared goals through lessons and live performances. But today is our last stage together as 23. I’d like to thank the other members for their kind support of my decision. I love all of our fans, and I’ll continue to work hard, so I’ll do my best to repay them.” Next, the group performed three songs from their sixth single: “Chance Roulette,” “Remaining Time,” and “Tribeca of Those Days.” All of these songs were performed for the first time today. “Coincidence Roulette,” featuring Suzuki Hayasaki as the main member, is a cute song about the feeling of falling in love in the middle of summer. The impressive choreography, in which the members spun in a circle in keeping with the title, captured the audience’s attention. “Remaining Time,” featuring Jinai Yagi as the main member, was impressive, as fans and members became one and excited. And “Tribeca of Those Days,” featuring both Eiko Sugiura and Jinai Yagi as the main members, is a pop song with a striking guitar that evokes the feelings of those days chasing dreams. The audience was captivated by the 23 members’ synchronized dance and the performance, which felt like watching a story.

At the “Aozora Summer Festival 2025,” special guests appeared one after another, fitting for a festival. The first guest was comedian Shintaro Morimoto of Tontsukatan. Morimoto, who is well-known for his appearances on the TikTok program “Bokusei Seishun Gakuen! After School Fun Night!”, erupted in cheers from the audience upon his arrival. To celebrate the band’s second anniversary, Morimoto participated in a “Second Year Report Card” segment, where members were asked about the things they’ve grown and haven’t grown since their debut. MC Shinkai Sunaga was told that her “sense of puns” was one area where she hadn’t improved, to which she responded, “I’ll do my best to get people to point out puns as something I’ve grown into!” Nana Shiogama was also introduced as having “become able to wink” as an area where she had “grown,” but she seemed somewhat dissatisfied. Finally, Hayasaki, who was most frequently cited as having not grown, was selected as the “member who should most reflect on herself.” When Hayasaki was selected, she delivered her
heart-warming remorse: “I’ll try not to talk too much, so cut me some slack (heart).” Smiles spilled from the audience, and excitement spread throughout the venue. The next guests were dip BATTLES and avex ROYALBRATS, both members of the professional dance league D.LEAGUE. This was their first full-scale on-stage collaboration, with the two groups previously collaborating on TikTok. Riko Iwamoto, Mana Mochinaga, and Hitoshi Yagi performed a dynamic performance with dip BATTLES, featuring sharp movements and impressive speed, instantly heating up the venue. Meanwhile, Sugiura Eiren, Hasegawa Kimi, and Yoshimoto Konna teamed up with “Avex ROYALBRATS” to deliver a sophisticated performance with a narrative and beautifully structured production. The collaboration between the two teams and members, showcasing their unique expressions, drew thunderous applause and cheers from the audience. Finally, the crowd welcomed ginjiro, a dancer who has become a hot topic on social media and is known as “Japan’s Most Famous Back.” While they have collaborated several times before, on this day they performed a special medley of songs from “Boku Ao.”

The Cloud Troupe (Aoki Chuho, Imai Yuki, Iwamoto Riko, Kinoshita Ai, Sugiura Eiren, Sunaga Kokomi, Hagiwara Kokoka, Hasegawa Nozomi, Miyakoshi Yuria, Mochinaga Mana, Yaegashi Misaki, Yamaguchi Yuan) performed “Love Without a Spare,” while the Blue Sky Troupe (Akita Rian, Anna Aoi, Ito Yuzu, Kanazawa Ami, Kudo Yua, Shiogama Nana, Nishimori Ayumi, Hayasaki Suzuki, Yagi Jinai, Yanagihori Karen, Yoshimoto Konna) performed “Let’s Cry Tears.” Furthermore, the oldest member, Yuzu Ito, and the youngest member, Misaki Yaegashi, performed a skit on stage. The comical exchange between the two drew laughter from the audience, which led straight into the song “If We Meet at the Entrance.”

The 23 members expressed the ambivalent lyrics, depicting love and conflict, with sharp gazes and synchronized movements. The powerful message conveyed through their flawlessly synchronized performance transformed the atmosphere onstage, and a tense atmosphere permeated the venue. The atmosphere was completely transformed by the performance of the following song, “Aozora Discotheque.” As the members graced the stage with smiles to the light-hearted rhythm, the audience naturally began swaying, waving their hands and dancing along. The atmosphere, with the entire venue enjoying itself as one, was filled with a sense of euphoria worthy of the name “Summer Festival.” They then concluded the main part of the show with “Sky-Colored Splashes,” a song that always gets the crowd excited at live shows.

So I thought about what to talk about here, but for the first time, I couldn’t think of anything. When I think back, a lot has happened over the past two years. I really like the members, but to be honest, there were times when it was difficult. I thought, ‘These kids are a bit of a handful.’ There were times when I wondered why they wouldn’t listen to me, but there were also fun times, we went through hardships together, and I felt really happy. I became blue and encountered a variety of emotions. There were times when I thought, ‘This is what I really think.’ I was inspired by these 22 members, and we accomplished something that is not to be taken for granted at a very important time, so I felt a lot of different emotions. I realized that I had encountered such emotions. They weren’t all bad emotions, they have helped me grow as a person, and I love it. There were times when it was difficult (laughs). But it’s OK because I love (the members). When I thought about why I love it so much, I realized that the girls who truly wish happiness for others have gathered here. After this, Ai-chan will be going on hiatus and Yui-chan will be graduating, but up until now we have been saying “23 people,” and so many people have told me that they love Ao because there are 23 of us, and that they love the bond between the 23 of us. So, of course I feel like they don’t want to go yet. I feel lonely, and I wish this time would just stop forever. I was thinking last night that if I stopped sitting here and talking now, this live show would never end. But this is such an important time we are spending, and I don’t want it to end. But when the members announced they were going on hiatus or graduating, I thought, “What! 」、 ぜひぜひ見てほしい作品。 English: When I heard the members say things like, ‘I hope you’ll be happy’ or ‘Do your best,’ instead of things like, ‘I hope you’ll be happy,’ I felt from the bottom of my heart that I’m glad we’ve been able to come this far with this lineup. We’ve been able to work hard thanks to our fans who have given us so much energy. When they come to our shows, they desperately call out the members’ names, and the moment I heard the members’ names being thrown around before the show, I almost started crying. Even before the show. I stopped because I thought it was dangerous. I am truly happy to have been able to come across all of you, who are so filled with love, over the past two years. There are times when I want to stop, but we have to move forward every day. It’s ‘the blue sky I wanted to see,’ so I have to go see the clear blue skies, so I can’t just stand there. But the two years I’ve spent with these 23 people are a treasure to me and to all of you. The past two years have been a very precious treasure to us, and although we still have some time left as a 23-person group, I hope that our future activities will be a youth that will be a lifelong treasure to all of you. I’m glad I met you all. I’m happy.” Next up was a choral version of “Thinking About the Blue Sky,” which they also performed on their debut day. All members carefully layered their voices to Suzuki Hayasaki’s piano accompaniment. Toward the end, the music stopped and the members and fans sang together, moving some members to tears and some fans to tears at the sight. In addition, vice-leader Karen Yanagibori announced that the first round of fan club advance tickets for “Bokusei Matsuri 2025,” to be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, will begin today. It was also announced that U-18 student discount tickets will be available for purchase. The crowd erupted in cheers when it was announced that their final solo concert of the year would be held at TACHIKAWA STAGE GARDEN on Sunday, December 28th. The final song at “Aozora Summer Festival 2025” was “The Person I Fell in Love With for the First Time,” a song that brought the band and fans together. All 23 members appeared in happi coats, and during the interlude, Shiogama and Sunaga engaged in a shaved ice eating contest. The performance, full of a festival atmosphere celebrating their second anniversary, thrilled the audience. In keeping with “BokuAo”‘s signature style, the band ended the concert on a high note, with everyone smiling. Image
