Weekly Bunshun, a general-purpose weekly magazine published by Bungeishunju Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shigeyuki Iikubo), will undergo a major overhaul starting with the September 11, 2025 issue, which will go on sale on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The August 28, 2025 issue will be the last to feature Wada’s art on the cover. We have reprinted the original cover art from 48 years ago. The September 4 issue, currently on sale, is blank and includes a message to Wada, marking a new start with the renewed issue on sale this week. ◆ Comment from Shukan Bunshun Editor-in-Chief Takeda Sei “We want to be an even more interesting, in-depth, and useful magazine.” With that in mind, we took the opportunity of redesigning the cover to also renew the content.
