The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers who aspire to become world-class professional
photographers, and submissions are accepted from Monday, September 1, 2025, to Sunday, November 30, 2025. “ZOOMS JAPAN” is a photo contest held since 2015 by CP⁺ in partnership with the French photo contest “LES ZOOMS” (sponsored by Salon de la Photo) to support emerging photographers in their international expansion. This year marks the 9th time the contest has been held, making it a must-see for photographers. The jury will be made up of prominent figures from the French photography world, including cutting-edge photo editors who also serve as judges for “LES ZOOM,” editors-in-chief of photo magazines and media outlets, directors of photography, and editorial directors, who will select the Grand Prix and Runner-up. The winning works will be exhibited at the CP⁺2026 venue and at the Salon de la Photo, a photo and video equipment show to be held in Paris in October of the same year. In addition, the winners will be invited to Paris during the event, where they will have the opportunity to receive advice from key figures in the French photography world. Requirements – Each person may submit only one theme and 5-10 pieces of work based on that theme. – The work must be an original work with full copyright and must not infringe on the rights of third parties (copyright, portrait rights, etc.). – Submitted works do not have to be unpublished. – Winners will be required to participate in the Paris tour (during the Salon de la Photo, October 2026) as a secondary prize. – Photography equipment is not required. ■Copyright and Usage Rights The copyright of winning and shortlisted works belongs to the photographer.
