SPACE SHOWER SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2025 30th ANNIVERSARY Space Shower Network Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsutoshi Natori), which operates a wide range of music-related businesses, including the operation of the music channel “Space Shower TV” and the planning and operation of music festivals, held the outdoor summer festival “SPACE SHOWER SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2025 30th ANNIVERSARY” over three days from August 29th to 31st, 2025, at Yamanakako Communication Plaza Kirara (Location: Yamanakako Village, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture), a naturally rich venue overlooking the World Heritage Site of Mount Fuji and the shores of Lake Yamanaka. “SWEET LOVE SHOWER,” which began at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in 1996, moved to its current venue, Yamanakako Communication Plaza Kirara, in 2007, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As if to celebrate the anniversary, the festival was blessed with clear skies for all three days, and Mount Fuji, standing tall under the sun, welcomed a total of 93 artists and a
record-breaking 85,000 audience members. The headliners on each day were some of the most impressive acts in the current music scene! First up on Day 1 was Mrs. GREEN APPLE, who first appeared as the opening act in 2015 and were back at Love Chat for the first time in nine years. Day 2 saw Official Hige Dandism, who thrilled Lake Yamanaka with their first appearance in six years. Day 3 saw SEKAI NO OWARI, who took revenge after being cancelled due to a thunderstorm two years ago, perform the grand finale to close out the three-day event. Each act added a touch of color to Love Chat’s 30th
anniversary. On Day 2, Aiko made a surprise appearance on Official Hige Dandism’s stage, and on Day 3, Koshi Inaba (B’z) appeared as a secret guest on Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra’s stage, creating special moments unique to the anniversary. Furthermore, Love Shower also presented their first tribute project, “Kiyoshiro Imawano 55th & SWEET LOVE SHOWER 30th presents SWEET LOVE SOULS,” to commemorate the double anniversary of the late Kiyoshiro Imawano’s 55th debut anniversary and the 30th anniversary of “SWEET LOVE SHOWER.” A diverse range of artists, rich in genres and musical styles, from artists with ties to Space Shower and Love Shower to fresh artists, created a fantastic stage, with a total of 93 groups filling Lake Yamanaka at the foot of Mount Fuji with music, sending the 85,000 audience members into a frenzy. The event will be broadcast exclusively on Space Shower TV as a Love Chat special starting in October! This massive live program, totaling 15 hours, will be broadcast for three consecutive weeks, featuring live performances and behind-the-scenes documentaries, earlier than anywhere else.
