Etoneige!!!!!” was held at Otemachi Mitsui Hall on Sunday, August 31st. Pia Corporation was in charge of producing the live show. Tickets sold out as it was the first live show for the new group produced by Futaba Kotaro, who once displayed his overwhelming idol qualities as a member of 9bic. The fans who were lucky enough to make it to the venue were showered with sparkling energy. Below is a report of the live show. Etoneige
After an opening featuring each member, the show began. They kicked off the stage with a bang with “Etoneige,” a song named after the group. Their confident demeanor, with their gazes darting all the way to the back of the audience, made you wonder if this was really their first live performance. The unison that resonated throughout the chorus was also outstanding, highlighting the strong bond they’ve built in the few months since their formation. The following song, “Dare na wa samanai!” (I Won’t Give You Anything!), completely transformed the impression they had just received, unleashing an energetic power. Futaba Kotaro captivated the audience with his skillful manipulation of the vocal nuances, while Kaneko Soo captivated with his charming rendition of “Daisuki.” The five of them were already able to balance giving their all without reservation with exuding their own identity.

Their innocent, slightly nervous demeanor exuded the unique atmosphere of a first stage performance. On this particular day, they even covered “Nande Kono Nacchatta!?” by 8iper, the band Kaneko was previously a member of. While originally a vibrant number, in Etoneige’s hands it took on a fragile, pop vibe. Their expressions changed rapidly in tandem with the lyrics, allowing their own unique charms to blossom. After a lesson in call-and-response with the audience, the whole venue was enthralled with “Dokiwaku Wonderland.” Kitagawa Reika made a super cute appeal to the camera, Daifuku Yuto showed off his characteristic straightforwardness with powerful movements, and Nishino Hinata’s eyes lit up with determination. They also skillfully navigated “We Are Reiwa Idols Etneige!”, which is packed with beat changes and key modulations, and conveyed with sincerity, “We’ll come to see you again and again.” To conclude the main set, they performed “Etoneige” for the second time that day. Perhaps their tension had eased as they reached the final stretch, but the atmosphere was more relaxed than at the opening. The soft, relaxed mood made the group’s bright and pure identity shine even brighter.

He walked around the venue singing “Dokiwaku Wonderland.” He exchanged glances with the fans in front of him and responded to their requests. He even made sure to appeal to the cameras. He seemed to enjoy his first in-venue performance with ease, showing a glimpse of the “Prince who will shake the world.”

Though they’ve only just started, the five members are already beginning to grasp their own unique style. I can’t wait to see what kind of scenery they’ll create as they reflect the light of their glow sticks on the snowy road.
