The 100,000th visitor was Rintaro Kanagawa (23) and Nana Sato (26) from Hyogo Prefecture. They were presented with commemorative gifts at the ceremony. Both are fans of Studio Ghibli films, and Sato commented, “I’m very surprised to be the 100,000th visitor. I’ve been to the Ghibli exhibition with Tosio Suzuki at other venues in the past, but I’m looking forward to this one, too, as I’ve heard there will be new exhibits from Aichi.” A No-Face greeting was also held at the venue that day, bringing smiles to the faces of many visitors as they experienced this precious, one-of-a-kind experience. The “Tosio Suzuki and Ghibli Exhibition” will run until Thursday, September 25th. It will tour 13 venues nationwide, concluding at the Aichi venue. In addition, since the exhibition is being held within the Aichi Expo Commemorative Park, where Ghibli Park is located, a special ticket, the “Ghibli Park Set Ticket,” is currently on sale. Additionally, visitors are now allowed to film videos at the Aichi-exclusive “Bathhouse and Mysterious Town” exhibit. With only 25 days left in the exhibition, we would be extremely grateful if you could take part in it. This exhibition unravels the “secrets behind the birth of Ghibli” while focusing on Toshio Suzuki. In addition to the approximately 8,800 books and 10,000 films that Suzuki Toshio himself has consumed and collected since childhood, a new exhibit will be focusing on music. The exhibition will delve into the secrets of Suzuki Toshio’s personality and the works that have become a part of his life. Other highlights include a space that recreates a 15-meter-tall bathhouse and the surrounding streetscape, exclusive to Aichi Prefecture, and a Chunichi Dragons corner where Suzuki’s treasured collection will be on display. ■Highlights Bathhouse and Mysterious Town

masterpieces. Among the approximately 8,800 books that have shaped Producer Suzuki’s career, some are available for you to pick up and read. Please enjoy them along with the comments. Tosio Suzuki’s Film Collection The film corner, featuring approximately 10,000 titles, has been a popular exhibit since its launch two years ago. Producer Suzuki’s morning routine involves checking the TV program guide while sipping coffee on the sofa. He checks his favorite movies and those he wants to see in the future, and organizes them by director and actor. This time, we’ve gathered together some of the films he has collected in this way. From classics to lesser-known works, enjoy this collection, which also offers a glimpse into the history of film. Toshio Suzuki’s Music Collection
