I killed him. 【Synopsis】 I became pregnant shortly after getting married and my husband was transferred. From that point on, he became cold and distant, like a different person. She endured his verbal abuse and raised her son, but finally he became violent. And now she finds her husband collapsed in the bathroom of their apartment. He is dead, dead. I killed him. And it’s almost time for her son Sho to come home from kindergarten… Just as she is at a loss, Katsura Torou, a junior from her university club whom she had bumped into in the neighborhood two weeks ago, comes to visit her. “Ryoko-san, there’s a problem, isn’t there? Please let me in.” [Message from the author] “What on earth is going on? What’s going on?” But in the end, it lands somewhere I never imagined. That’s always been the kind of novel I want to write, and I think that’s my own version of a mystery. I feel a sense of accomplishment to have been able to complete a novel like this 25 years after my debut!! Don’t tell anyone about the ending!
