War is fought between countries. But a country is made up of individuals, so those earnest, kind, stingy, comical, and adorable people were fighting a war. When I left the theater, my stomach ached. Was it because I laughed too much or because the theme resonated so deeply? This work will stay in my heart forever. Stream it! Agarisk!

It’s simply fun. That alone makes it worth watching. But you can’t just laugh all the time. It is chilling to imagine that beyond their confusion lies a history in which the majority of the nation’s citizens have been drawn into. The sight of these people being tossed about by organizational logic is not an isolated wartime story. Similar things are happening all over the place today, in companies, schools, local communities, and more. This story is by no means something that is happening in a faraway place; it is part of our everyday lives. Keep laughing, have fun, and enjoy the sudden fear that comes after you’ve had enough of laughing. This intense experience should be able to be conveyed even through video.

There’s not a single wasted line. Its beauty draws the viewer in with a powerful force, making them feel as if they’re on some kind of attraction. While you’ll find yourself laughing out loud from start to finish, it also makes you think deeply about yourself as a communicator and as a person living within an organization. It’s a film you’ll want to watch again and again, and talk about with others. Without a doubt, this is the best stage performance of my life. After watching it, I’m sure you’ll be hooked on the charms of the unique actors, just like me, and become a fan of the whole cast! Image

I feel like I’ve seen the strengths of Agarisk Entertainment. Justice, pride…these are such plausible words that it’s scary how they prevent the characters from realizing they’re making the wrong choice. I hope you’ll experience the sense of speed as the story moves towards the end. It gave me goosebumps. None of the characters are at fault…really? ▼What is Agarisk Entertainment’s “Announce! Imperial Headquarters!”? The play premiered at Ekimae Theater in 2019, drawing an audience of 1,200 people. It won numerous awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor in the Stage Film category at the 2020 Kadoma International Film Festival, and is widely regarded as Agarisk’s greatest work. The play was written and directed by Tomosaka Tomo, president of Agarisk Entertainment. Tomisaka continues to expand his field of activity beyond the theater world, writing the script for the currently airing CX Tuesday 9pm drama “Hinji no Hitomi” and writing and directing “Toubon Seisou – Is Liar the Beginning of Politicians? -” (2024). Now, more than ever, he is committed to theater performances and aiming for a production worthy of the 20th anniversary milestone. This is an Agarisk-style war comedy and office worker elegy, depicting the struggles of the news department when they are forced to broadcast a headquarters announcement notorious for its cover-up, falsification, and fabrication. In this memorable year marking 80 years since the end of the war, please look forward to “Announce! Imperial Headquarters!”, the largest-ever Agarisuku event. ▼Synopsis But how am I supposed to announce it!?! June 1942. The Japanese military, which had been going into the Battle of Midway with a confident attitude, suffered a historic defeat. While the Navy was preparing for a victory party, they were still shocked when they faced a new problem. –How will these results be announced to the public? “The truth should be told.” “No, we can’t let the people’s morale drop.” “On the contrary, they’re trying to boost morale by creating a sense of crisis…” Disunion of opinion. Each department blaming the other. And so began the longest day of a Navy Press Officer’s career…! ▼Cast (* indicates affiliated with Agarisk Entertainment) Ryo Tsuwano (*) Yabuki Jump (*/Falus Theater) Taketo Asagoe (*) Yuriko Maeda (*) Ryuji Kitagawa Kota Saito (Comedy Unit Isokawa Family) Kenshiro Nakata Toru Kugasawa Ken Takagi Wataru Morita (declares himself untalented) Keita Ito (*) Yukiko Kashima (*) Daiki Kajimoto (Caramel Box) Yuuki Enami (*) Ren Furuya (*) Karin Takahashi ▼Tickets Viewing ticket: 3,000 yen (separate handling fee) ▼Purchase & Viewing Confetti Streaming Theater URL: https://www.confetti-web.com/events/10211 ▼Credits (* indicates affiliated with Agarisk Entertainment) Script and Direction: Tomosaka Tomo (*) Literary assistant: Gakuto Asakoshi (*) Assistant director: Shota Inoue Stage director: Naoki Maruyama Stage art: Takashi Miyasaka Lighting: Gosuke Kurota (Black Monkey) Sound: Kiyoshi Kugo Music: Tetsuya Mihama (*) Costumes: Yuka Kumagai (*) Kimono Supervision: Kohaku Akanukeya Props: Yuriko Maeda (*) Stage Photography: Chieko Ishizawa Promotional Art: Ryo Tsuwano (*) Promotional video: Yuuki Enami (*) Photography/editing: CineLives Production: Rinka Saeki (*) Production Assistant: Kento Kashimura (*) Producer: Yuta Sanoki (*) Cooperation: CRAPER/T-ME LLC / Animo Produce / Ayame Juhachiban / Theater Group Caramel Box / Kurozaru / Comedy Unit Isokawake / Super Eccentric Theater / Dorchester / Haikyo / Falce Theater / Fossett Concierge / My Turn Entertainment Planning and Production: Agarisk Entertainment Co., Ltd. ▼Contact us Email: info@agarisk.com
