heartbreaking shouts of Yamato Punks (vocals and guitar) elicited heated fists from the floor. Next, they performed “Angel Maybe,” which is fast becoming their signature song, raising the heat in the crowd, creating a strong atmosphere in the venue right from the start of the show. During the song, a line introducing the Yamato members was introduced, which led to a chorus of “Maybe I’ll Become an Angel.” The first half of the concert consisted entirely of songs from the latest album, starting with “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien,” which drew huge cheers at the intro, and continuing with “Shi ga Futari wo Douki Made,” a live staple from their debut major label EP, “Saitei E.P.”, released two years ago. Kazuki’s (drums) dynamic, precise, and thrilling drumming, Nishioka Kentaro’s (bass) aggressive performance and heavy bass sound, and Fukushima Kaito’s (guitar) guitar that pierces the listener’s heart with its cool, technical playing. And Yamato’s vocals and powerful presence are overwhelmingly compelling. The band captivates with their powerful, well-coordinated band ensemble, while the four members’ personalities and playing shine brightly on stage, clearly showing the results of their tour.

Bring me some beer!!” and popped open a can of beer on stage, singing, “I Might Become an Angel!” He downed his beer while the audience cheered, and then casually let his drinking ban go. He flashed a broad smile as if nothing had happened. He then spoke of his memories of Shinjuku, the venue for the day, and introduced the song “S-ku Religious Music Public Opinion” by saying, “So that we don’t forget the feelings of those days.” He continued with “Everything we remember about summer,” and “Let’s make this summer one we’ll never forget, no matter how many years pass,” warming the hearts of listeners with emotional songs. The stirring development and rich expressiveness not only demonstrate their high level of live performance skills, but also attest to the richness of PK Shampoo’s recent music. A sense of unity was created with the chorus of “3D/Biela,” which began with Yamato saying, “Can you sing? The song, “Hoshi,” has been gaining renewed attention after being selected as the official promotional song for the stage play “Chi. -About the Movement of the Earth-.” The venue was filled with the intensely beautiful band ensemble, evoking the image of a magnificent starry sky, and the gentle, powerful vocals. Yamato strummed his guitar and proclaimed, “Let’s make a miracle happen,” leading to a rousing singalong.

The final song of the set, which began with a shout of “To the ends of the galaxy!”, was the popular song “SSME,” also included on their latest album. The song connected the hearts of the entire venue with a sing-along chorus, and the crowd unleashed an energy so intense it seemed to fly to the ends of the galaxy, bringing the show to a climax. The four members returned to the stage in response to the still-excited audience. “There’s a song (from our latest album) that we haven’t even performed yet,” Yamato revealed. He spoke of how they’ve gotten to where they are today thanks to the help of many people, and expressed his gratitude to those around them who have been involved with them. “One tour is coming to an end, but the band will continue on,” he said, playing his electric acoustic guitar as he began playing “Until a Band is Completed,” the final track on their latest album. When Yamato’s acoustic guitar and vocals are overlaid with the band’s performance, the heartfelt sound and Yamato’s sentimental vocals sink deep into your heart.

It was an incredibly cool ending, but the audience still seemed unsatisfied. The four members reappeared in front of them again. “We weren’t planning on doing it, but it didn’t feel like it was over…” they said with a wry smile, beginning the double encore with their second performance of “Tenshi ni Naru Mokatte” (Maybe I’ll Be an Angel). While the atmosphere was more intimate than the main performance, it generated excitement that exceeded the boiling point, bringing a truly fulfilling tour to a close.
