Press Release: September 2, 2025 Book reviewer Yumi Toyosaki begins broadcasting on the professional writing platform “theLetter” Yumi Toyozaki, who has been a writer for 40 years and a book reviewer for over 20 years, has begun distributing a newsletter called “Toyozaki’s Work” on “theLetter,” which delivers past manuscripts and book reviews that have not yet been published in book form.

I then began writing book reviews in earnest in the 1990s, and have published six collections of reviews to date. Many of the reviews I’ve written since 2012 have yet to be compiled into a book, so I hope to gradually publish these unpublished manuscripts on theLetter. I also plan to gradually upload manuscripts from my younger days, when I worked on a wide variety of projects, from interviews and discussion summaries to investigative articles.
