In 2019, it became the first television program to receive the Society Contribution Category of the Association of Japanese Geographers Award for its contributions to the dissemination of geographical knowledge. Starting with the April 2024 broadcast, actor Ryohei Suzuki will serve as the show’s ninth narrator, serving as its “navigator” (guide), conveying the appeal of World Heritage sites while also sharing his own thoughts.
