Takashi’s words… And so, this masterpiece will be sung forever… Matsumoto To commemorate the 55th anniversary of Takashi’s songwriting career, the official project “Kazemachi Poetic 2025” will be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A for two days on September 19th (Friday) and 20th (Saturday), as a concert to “pass on” Matsumoto’s famous songs to the future. “Kazemachi Poetic 2025” will showcase Matsumoto’s many masterpieces, which continue to shine evergreen in the history of Japanese pop music and will surely be sung forever. This miraculous two-day event will be completed in two nights: “Night 1: Wind Edition” and “Night 2: City Edition.” The first wave of performers announced included a stellar lineup of artists, and now the second wave of performers has been announced. Kanna Hashimoto, who released her solo debut single in 2016 and is active in films and stage productions, and Haruka Kinoshita, an actress who gained attention for her role in the drama “Fukokuri mo Hodo Aru!”, have been confirmed to appear in “Night One: Wind Edition.” In addition, newly announced songs for “Night One: Wind Edition” include “One Thousand and One Seconds Story,” “Silver Harmonica,” “Swimming Glasses,” “First Love,” and “Cotton
Handkerchief,” while “Glass Boy,” “SCOTCH AND RAIN,” and “Bit-Fever Boy” will be performed in “Night Two: City Edition.”
