The latest animated film, “Labyrinth Bookmark,” will be released on January 1, 2026! This is the first original feature-length film by Shoji Kawamori, who has written and directed many TV animations, including the “Macross” and “Aquarion” series. According to Kawamori, the story was born from his idea that smartphones, which are used by everyone today, are “another self” that accumulates data such as smartphone history and personal information. The character designs were created by Risa Ebata, who worked with Kawamori on Macross F. The story revolves around two protagonists: Shiori, who is trapped in a labyrinth inside her smartphone, and her “other self,” SHIORI, who begins to go out of control in the real world of Yokohama. The story unfolds as they move back and forth between the “other world of the mind” and the real world. It’s an emotional, pop-infused entertainment piece with songs, horror, explosive emotions, and stickers flying everywhere! If your smartphone breaks, it could mean your heart breaks too. January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day) at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya and other theaters nationwide

The signature pavilion, “Adventures of Life,” produced by Shoji Kawamori, has been bustling with visitors every day. At the concept store, the “Life Sphere” figurine, the theme’s symbol, and the chilled endangered species tea have been extremely popular. The popular content, the Super Dimensional Theater “499 Seconds: My Fusion,” features music by Yoko Kanno. You can dramatically experience a food chain on a cosmic scale.
