We are pleased to announce that Sapporo-based rock band HIKAGE has digitally released their first full album, “True Colors,” today on various DSPs. “True Colors,” marking HIKAGE’s biggest breakthrough of the year, fully expresses their signature “HIKAGE” sound, while featuring a robust sound backed by grunge and amalgamation reminiscent of the ’90s rock scene. In addition to upbeat tracks like “YAIBA feat. Tanaka Yuki (SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!!),” which features lyrics entirely in Japanese, and “Kizu,” which has become a staple at live shows, “Light on” begins with an acoustic intro showcasing GEN’s brilliant vocals, making it a compelling album that hints at the depth of HIKAGE’s performances to come. Tickets for the “True Colors TOUR 2025,” which is taking reservations ahead of the release of this album, are currently on sale. Kicking off at Enoshima OPPA-LA with ENTH on Saturday, September 13th, the tour will feature impressive guest appearances from SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!!, featuring YAIBA, as well as Prompts, The BONEZ, and NOISEMAKER.
