(C)KADOKAWA/Photo: Mime Soga Actor Isono Dai, known for his roles as Odenta Mitsuyo in the stage play “Touken Ranbu” and Hanma Shuji in the musical “Tokyo Revengers,” has announced the release of his first photo book. Filmed on location in the Izu Islands, among the clear ocean and nostalgic cityscape, Isono captures a rich array of expressions that are a little different from those seen on stage. From emotional shots showcasing her photogenic beauty to her natural, charming smile as she drives a buggy or enjoys fireworks, this book is filled with Isono’s diverse charms. The title, “Determination,” which means “determination,” was Isono’s own idea. The release date is Friday, December 12, 2025. Immediately following the release, on Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th, launch events featuring Isono himself will be held in Osaka and Tokyo. The 14th also marks Isono’s 33rd birthday. In addition, a limited edition with an alternate cover and an All Others mini photobook will be sold exclusively through KADOKAWA’s official online store, “Kadosto.” Three lucky buyers of the Kadosto limited edition will be entered into a lottery to win a souvenir from the Izu Oshima location shoot, selected by Isono herself, and a signed alternate cover.
