A special project, “THE FIRST Reading Aloud,” has begun, in which 10 people – Toyonaga Aki, Kurihara Sae, Oba Rinsaki, Ryuto Kion, Akiyoshi Yuka, Izawa Miyu, Eguchi Kokorohana, Ouchi Rika, Matsunaga Yura, and Yanase Suzuya – attempt to read aloud works of pure literature. “THE FIRST Reading Aloud” is being held on “News Crunch!”, the online media of Wanibooks Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akio Takahashi).

“THE FIRST Reading Aloud” lets you relive that experience by listening to an idol in your class read aloud from the seat next to you. This audio content delivers pure literature that will have you yearning to listen. The first event was graced by members of HKT48. The 10 members, Toyonaga Aki, Kurihara Sae, Oba Rinsaki, Ryuto Kion, Akiyoshi Yuka, Izawa Miyu, Eguchi Kokoroha, Ouchi Rika, Matsunaga Yura, and Yanase Suzuya, read works of pure literature. We’re holding “THE FIRST Book Review” contest, where you can send in your thoughts after listening to the members’ readings! Please write down your thoughts and send them to us, including what you felt when you listened, what part really touched you, the timing here was perfect, the way this line was said really struck you… News Crunch! Our editorial staff will read your review, and the grand prize for anyone who sends us a wonderful review will be a signed copy of the book read by the band members!
