(Headquarters: Oyama-cho, Sunto-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture) will be hosting a special event, “Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days,” on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th, 2025, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the serialization of the legendary hit manga “Initial D” (written by Shigeno Shuichi), with the support of Kodansha Young Magazine. This time, “Ungirls” will perform on Saturday, September 13th, and “Kitsune” will perform on Sunday, September 14th. With Initial D fans and comedians performing Initial D material, the stage and the venue are sure to be even more exciting. This event offers a variety of content that allows you to experience the charm and history of the series with all five senses, not only for fans of the original work, but also for everyone who has been captivated by the world of Initial D through anime, movies, and games over the past 30 years since the series began. From the “Original Art Exhibition” where you can experience the power of the work up close, to the “Scene Reenactment Exhibition” that brings legendary scenes from the series to life, and food and drink booths with collaborative menus, there will be plenty of “Initial D experiences” that you can only get here. We would like to introduce this event, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages and in a variety of ways. ■Watch Initial D: Recreating famous scenes on the circuit and in the pits Recreated Drifting | Initial D Technique Showdown! | AE86 Fuji N2 Showdown | FDJ Collaboration Drift Show | Scene Reenactment Exhibition | Initial D Original Art Exhibition & Reproduction Art Sales | 86/BRZ Stage | Initial D Stage | Others Fuji Speedway, which hosts many international races, also hosts many events on its racing course. In the “Drift Reenactment” event, professional drivers will recreate famous scenes from Initial D. “Initial D Technique Showdown!” will feature a showdown recreating famous scenes from the series. Enjoy a demo run with realistic vehicles. The popular AE86 Fuji N2 showdown, also featured in the FUJI 86/BRZ STYLE, will also be held on the same day. In the pit, there will also be a “Scene Reenactment Exhibit,” where numerous famous scenes are realistically recreated using actual cars. Enjoy a powerful display that seems to have jumped out of the manga. There will also be an original art exhibition featuring color illustrations and manga, and reproductions of the original art will be available for purchase (order available).

There’s also a booth where you can take photos with characters. Immersive! Initial D Corridor | Official Photo Booth | Touge Attack Non-Stop FOREST Edition | More The event plaza, which also houses the bus stop, will be the main venue for “FUJI 86/BRZ STYLE2025 with Initial D,” where numerous GR86 SUBARU BRZs will be lined up. The underground passageway connecting the event plaza with Paddock A, the main venue for the “Initial D World Summit 2025,” will be called the “Immersive! Initial D Corridor,” featuring panels showcasing famous scenes from the Initial D manga. Passing through the immersive, approximately 100-meter-long tunnel, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the world of Initial D as you move between venues. We’ll also be setting up an “Official Photo Booth” where you can take photos with original framed sheets commemorating the 30th anniversary of Initial D. Be sure to take a photo alongside the characters as a memento of your visit. You’ll receive a photo sheet and digital image data (each one is expected to cost 1,000 yen). The Welcome Center also offers the “Touge Attack Non-Stop FOREST Edition,” where you can use a radio-controlled car to tackle a special forest-designed mountain pass course (5 minutes/500 yen). The Initial D Parade Run is also open to anyone who owns a vehicle. Why not drive on a circuit where the World Championships are held (tickets cost 4,400 yen per vehicle and can be purchased on the day at Paddock A’s Driving Contents Reception). Also, as part of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing content, Mobilita will be hosting the “86 Low-μ Road Drift Experience.” You can enjoy the slide control experience with driving advice from a GR86 in-house development driver.
