Yurubirth, which was revived in 2023 as the successor to the Yuru-Chara Grand Prix, is now in its third year. This year, 299 characters from all over Japan and around the world have entered, making it the largest Yurubirth event to date. The “YuruNavi Voting” campaign, which allows one vote per person per day by registering a free ID on the official website since August 1st, and the “Hometown Support Voting” campaign, which allows voters to vote by making hometown tax donations or shopping through Amazon, have already begun, and many fans are showing their passionate support. Approximately 100 characters will appear in the final vote, the climax of “Yurubirth 2025,” and appeal to visitors through a “3-minute appeal time” on stage, displays at each booth, and greetings. Visitors will receive “voting coins” and can cast one vote in the voting box for their favorite character (if you attend both days, you can vote once each day). The “Yurubirth 2025 Grand Prix” will be announced at the awards ceremony on the afternoon of Sunday, the 28th, after adding up the votes from the “YuruNavi Voting,” “Hometown Support Voting,” and “Final Voting.” The “Yurubirth 2025” competition is looking to be a close one.
