“Self Portrait” artwork gummy3000’s new 8-track EP, “Self Portrait,” will be released on Friday, September 5th by Idiot Pop Records. This introspective and emotional work is a pleasant intersection of nostalgic piano, warm beats, and lo-fi sampling, in which gummy3000 reexamined and reconstructed the sound he could create at the moment. Tracing his roots, he carefully depicts his current state in a lo-fi/hip-hop format, while exuding respect for the music that influenced him in the past.
