At festivals and in the arts, it has connected people and enriched their sense of cultural appreciation. Sake and art both stimulate our sensibilities. Their fusion creates an unprecedented cultural experience. Raising a sip in front of the artworks brings together the senses of sight and taste, gently opening the mind. Sake releases the viewer’s emotions, expands the imagination, and helps immerse oneself in the world of the artworks. This exhibition will create a moment of deep resonance and immersion that cannot be achieved by simply viewing the artworks or simply sipping sake. Art exhibition featuring a diverse range of artists This exhibition features artists from a variety of backgrounds, including Japan, Korea, and Thailand. A diverse range of genres, including painting, digital art, video, and music, will be brought together, featuring works that move between tradition and modernity, and the real and virtual. This space, where resonance transcends the boundaries of culture and genre, is a rare opportunity to experience the current state of international art. With a sake in hand, enjoy the “transboundary power of art” woven by artists who transcend national borders and fields of expression. ◆Introducing Participating Creators / From Season 2

At Tamanohikari Sake Brewery, we feel a strong sense of mission to connect sake culture to the future, especially with the inscription of “traditional sake brewing” on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2024. While producing
approximately 5,000 koku of sake per year (equivalent to approximately 500,000 1.8L bottles), this project was launched with the aim of maintaining a passion for handcrafting and restoring the originality and creativity of craftsmanship. Furthermore, through collaboration with a variety of creators, we aim to bring sake to the attention of a wider audience, not just as an “entrance” but as an “exit,” and to cultivate a new fan base. Sango × project site Why Japanese Sake “Sango 0 /Sango 0×” is special The “350 /350x” sake series was created to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Tamanohikari Sake Brewery. In the “350x Project,” white bottles are treated as “canvases,” and labels feature original artwork by artists. Each series is unique in both flavor and theme. For example, Series 1 is based on the theme of “love,” and by linking the taste with the label design, it is a product that allows you to enjoy sake as a special, “once in a lifetime” encounter. Meaning of artist labels

The logo, in which a “ ” (plus) is rotated 45 degrees to become an “x” (cross), represents new value created through synergy, as well as a spirit of co-creation and a leap into the future. Furthermore, by using different art for each series, the brand packages the experience of a “once-in-a-lifetime encounter.” This also creates a new connection between consumers, art, and sake.
Tamanohikaru Sake Brewery takes pride in its 350 years of history and continues to challenge itself not just to preserve tradition, but to evolve it. Enriching lives with sake. Creating new connections with the traditions of sake. Going forward, we will continue to pursue various possibilities and take on new challenges.
