Harmony Japan Co., Ltd. Press release: September 7, 2025 To Members of the Press Celebrating Orchestra Japan’s 10th anniversary! A special celebratory performance with Keith Lockhart and a stellar cast! The encounter of a single sound moves the heart, becoming a miracle of a single encounter. Orchestra Japan is celebrating its 10th anniversary since its debut. To celebrate these 10 years of precious encounters and new challenges, we will be holding a special, one-off performance at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on Sunday, March 15, 2026, filled with gratitude and hope. Since then, they have performed in over 700 stage productions, including “Disney on Classic,” Japan’s largest orchestral tour, the “Olympic Concert” organized by the Japan Olympic Committee, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, the world premiere of “The Lion King (hyper-live-action version),” and numerous film concerts such as “The Little Mermaid in Concert” (2018), “Beauty and the Beast in Concert” (2020), and “Aladdin in Concert” (2025), all held at the Budokan and Yokohama Arena. In March 2018, the group held its first classical concert, “First Recital Ichi-on Ichi-e,” at Suntory Hall (Tokyo) and The Symphony Hall (Osaka). With Reiner Honeck, concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, as conductor, the group demonstrated its true value as an orchestra. In March 2025, Orchestra Japan performed with Boston Pops Orchestra Principal Conductor Keith Lockhart at the “John Williams Tribute Special Concert with Keith Lockhart.” Their passionate rendition of the music thrilled and moved the audience. Unconstrained by genre or existing boundaries, Orchestra Japan continues to pursue performances that immerse the viewer in a story and music that touches the heart. May 2025 marked the 10th anniversary of their debut. With gratitude in our hearts to all those who have supported us, we present a
commemorative performance that connects our 10-year history to the future. THE ORCHESTRA JAPAN 10th Anniversary Concert One Sound One Encounter vol.2 Official site: https://www.harmonyjapan.com/toj10th/ Performers
