I have mainly exhibited my work in group exhibitions. For this project, I carefully selected some of my accumulated color photos (3:2 ratio) and resized them to 1:1 square using image editing software, then converted them to monochrome, creating a tranquil world of black and white. Varying the aspect ratio allows for a stable composition, and the monochrome format allows the richness of the tonal gradations and the shadows of the particles to highlight the exotic atmosphere and layers of time, creating a poetic aftertaste. Hungary’s history, culture, and the presence of its people evoke a nostalgic, universal emotion. I hope to share this quiet brilliance with viewers, and that these fragments of everyday life in a distant country will somehow overlap with your own memories and emotions. This exhibition features 50 photographs taken between 2004 and 2024, including the historical cityscape of the capital Budapest, natural landscapes, the appearance of regional cities, and the simple expressions of people, accompanied by captions and the name of the camera used.
