Murasaki Sports Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoichi Kanayama) is pleased to announce that it will be managing an urban sports experience event (skateboarding and BMX) sponsored by Fukuoka Prefecture, starting in September. This event offers a rare opportunity to try out skateboarding, BMX, and other sports that were a hot topic at the Tokyo Olympics, free of charge. It will be held five times, once a month, at locations throughout Fukuoka Prefecture. The first event, a BMX trial session, will be held on Sunday, September 14th at Live Skates Koga, a skate park in Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Experienced instructors will provide thorough instruction, so even beginners and children can participate with confidence. Also, the 2025 Asian BMX Freestyle Championships, which will determine the No. 1 in Asia, will be held in Fukuoka Prefecture on the same day. This weekend, top athletes from Japan and around Asia will gather in Fukuoka. If you’ve never tried BMX before, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
