After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Wakayama University, he joined Hanshin Electric Railway in 1984. In 1990, he started an internal venture with his boss and expanded the entertainment business through venues such as Osaka Blue Note. He opened Blue Note in Nagoya and Fukuoka, establishing a live music restaurant culture and working hard to promote music culture both domestically and internationally. He later converted the brand to the famous US chart chart, Billboard, and established itself as a global music brand in Japan through the success of Billboard Live and Billboard Classics. He also worked hard to expand the Tigers’ content business and the group’s advertising agency business, laying the foundation for the group’s content business. After returning to the parent company, he was responsible for new business ventures and M&A for the entire group, and started businesses such as programming education and day care services. He then served as Representative Director and President of Hanshin Contents Link, focusing on work style reform and developing new brands geared toward inbound tourism.
