The group “THE TOKYO,” consisting of “Anyway, Akari Yasumura” (TONY), “Ichikawa Koikuchi” (GASSY), and “Wes-P” (WES-P), performed at the Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF), held in Busan, South Korea from Friday, August 29th to Sunday, September 7th. The Tokyo Idiots participated in the festival and won the Ocean of Laughter Award, the best production award given to teams invited from overseas. This performance was the group’s first stage performance, and it was their first time winning the Ocean of Laughter Award. During their first performance in Korea, “THE TOKYO IDIOTS” created their material based on Korean and presented content that was in keeping with the local culture.
