The “Yokai Tea Ceremony” special event was held at the Yokai Comes to Life Exhibition Nagoya. Animated Yokai Exhibition NAGOYA Executive Committee (Aichi Television, Ikki, and Jiji Press) held the “Yokai Tea Ceremony” special event for the “Nagoya: Awakening Yokai Exhibition” at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya on Friday, September 5, 2025.

(C)2025 AtelierGraphia Visitors were treated to sweets with yokai motifs (“Yubikiri,” “Kintoun,” “Sidelong Glance,” and “Yubitoato”) and tea (“Dragon’s Blood” and “Hagan Soup”). Visitors also enjoyed a “reverse world” of tea ceremony, where the left and right sides are reversed compared to a regular tea ceremony. The tea was served by Daitengu, a familiar figure from the yokai greetings at the “Animated Yokai Exhibition Nagoya.” After the ceremony, visitors took
commemorative photos with Daitengu, and the event ended on a high note.
