(headquarters: Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture / Representative: Murano Marie), will hold “Akira Kubo Solo Exhibition: Town of the Sea Breeze” from Sunday, September 14th to Friday, October 31st, 2025, as the vol. 4 exhibition of the “Te to Ba Museum” that it operates.

Graduated from the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Oil Painting, in 2018. Completed the Graduate School of Fine Arts at the same university in 2020. Starting in 2024, he will be a part-time lecturer in the Printmaking Department of the Department of Fine Arts, College of Art, Nihon University. Using natural motifs such as starry skies, the moon, wind, and trees, he creates paintings using unique bases and colors. In recent years, he has exhibited his works domestically and expanded his expression of dialogue with nature through residencies. Each workshop consists of two sessions. You will shape the clay in the first session, fire it, and color it in the second session. You can then take home your finished product. Through the power of art, we gently capture the landscapes and cultures that are being forgotten in our daily lives and pass them on to the future. The Tetoba Museum is rooted in this land, growing with the people, and preserving the memories of Goto.
