X:@toki_stationery The latest in the series, a “pseudo-afterlife ensemble drama,” is based on the worldview of the TokiStation reading play “Grand Summer Memories,” which premiered in July 2021. Where does a love that has ended go? A novel worldview in which stationery is personified, A cheating set square, a timid stapler, and more, The unique personalities of the stationery students at Hikidashi Gakuen High School Tokimeki Stationeries is a school youth story of clashes. The moving work “Grand Summer Memories,” which was performed as a reading play in 2021, will be reborn with the addition of new characters. This work explores the fate of past love held by stationery items discarded by their owners. It also contains encouragement for those who continue to live in the modern world. Even if you’re not familiar with the previous series, this is a superb piece of entertainment with songs, performances, laughter, and tears. We hope you enjoy the end of summer at the theater. The students of Hikidashi Academy study hard every day, striving to create fine stationery that will be useful to humanity. When Ren Sankaku and a few other students are taken out to sea by their teacher to scout the area for their school trip, their ship is hit by a sudden storm and they end up on an unfamiliar island. The island is called “Dream Island,” and it’s like the afterlife for the stationery items. As the students of Hikidashi Academy, stranded apart, search for each other, they each encounter different pieces of stationery living on Dream Island. While the island’s residents have finished their lives as tools and are waiting for their existence to disappear, what are the feelings of Misumi and the others, who are still able to live in the present?
