To what extent can humans express themselves on a single tatami mat? This question prompted the launch of “ONE STAGE,” a new performing arts project led by Japanese dancer Wakako Arima. The inaugural performance, “ONE STAGE CONCERT,” will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 (national holiday), in the Koshoden Hall of the historic Zojoji Temple. Creative Guild, a general incorporated association, supports the “ONE STAGE” initiative as a symbolic example of creating a future that starts with “fun.” We are accepting advance interviews and on-site filming regarding this event. We can also interview performing artists, organizers, and related parties. We also have press photos and video footage available for use in articles. If you are

This performing arts project, featuring a collapsible stage the size of a single tatami mat, opened in 2025. It was led by Japanese dancer Wakako Arima, and the stage was designed by scenographer and first-class architect Ryosuke Hara. “What kind of grand world can be created from a tiny stage measuring just one tatami mat?” ONE STAGE is a testing ground for putting this question into practice. This project transcends the boundaries of genres such as traditional performing arts, fine arts, and music, and creates new cultural value by intersecting diverse forms of
expression.
