I’m still at a loss for words, but I’m glad I’ve continued.” Juror Akira Tatehata (Professor Emeritus, Tama Art University) also commented, “At first glance, Ainami’s work appears to be an everyday scene painting, but it also exudes an abstract atmosphere and a subtle allegory. While conveying a sense of foreboding and unease lurking within reality, the overall work exudes a charming world. It is a work with a unique appeal, and I feel it is worthy of the Grand Prix.” The winners of each award are as follows.
