https://kodomo-smile.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/companies/4388 About the ongoing activities of Kodomo Dream Design This year’s event, hosted by Kodomo Dream Design, will be provided free of charge to schools and organizations as part of career choice support and lifelong learning. To this end, we will outsource filming, recording, nationwide simultaneous streaming, and editing of the event to professional companies for use as educational materials. Back issues will be provided as educational materials as we continue to expand our activities nationwide. The general support raised through this crowdfunding campaign will be used to cover these costs. “Connecting the Power of Creativity to the Future” Project: Collaborative Creation for the Next Generation Yamamoto Kazunari, who kindly participated in the association’s desire to expand its activities nationwide, is a project that aims to expand nationwide as part of the project. Yamamoto is a well-known entertainer who has been featured in the media by both adults and children. In this presentation, he will discuss the true meaning behind his spectacular activities in more depth. Yamamoto has been working with a deep and passionate desire to spread the word that human beatboxing is “a science that solves social issues while entertaining people as entertainment.” His life story of seeing possibilities and persevering no matter how difficult the situation, is a must-listen not only for children and students with dreams, but also for adults in all walks of life. On the impact of human beatboxing on the developmental process In addition to his stellar career as a performer, Yamamoto is also actively involved in lectures, providing scientifically-based explanations, including preventive medicine, of the positive physical and mental effects of actually using the human body to produce sound. To get to this point, he put in a lot of hard work, hidden away, and studied academic subjects to gain specialized knowledge. He will share his journey in an easy-to-understand way with children. A question session will also be held, with attendees selected by lottery. Children will be able to ask Yamamoto any questions they want to ask him directly. Furthermore, human beatboxing is known to be highly effective in preventing or alleviating psychosomatic illnesses in our stressful society, and is expected to be highly effective in terms of “experiential learning,” “IQ and EQ development,” and “communication,” which are important to KoDream (Children’s Dream Design). To make this a fun experience for people of all ages, the second half of the event will feature a “Let’s Play Voice Percussion Together” where everyone can participate and receive hands-on instruction. As a reward for general crowdfunding support, there will also be a special “Beatboxing Session for Two!” where you can have a short session with Yamamoto using the voice percussion you just learned, and we’ll deliver the recorded archive to you. This will be a wonderful commemorative project that will delight not only Yamamoto fans, but everyone. (For information on the physical and mental benefits, see the reference information below.) We also want children under the age of 13 to participate, so for general crowdfunding rewards, we have created a family set where children can enter for free and parents, family members, and chaperones can participate together. Please join us as one of the parent-child activities. For companies interested in supporting Kodomo Dream Design’s activities and schools and organizations interested in receiving free teaching materials, we will provide special tours. Please contact us via our contact form. We look forward to seeing you there. Event Name: “This Isn’t Just a Game! This event is an extension of that, an effort to foster co-education. Adults and children can learn, express, and dream together. I will work hard and have more fun than anyone else to make this project an invaluable opportunity for the generation that will lead the future. [Related reference information] Increased musical experience leads to higher IQ https://sgbms-fukaya-piano.com/335 Recent research has shown that auditory experiences, such as a sense of pitch and rhythm, have a positive impact on children’s IQ and cognitive function. In
particular, active musical experiences, such as “hearing,”
“producing,” and “feeling” sounds, stimulate a wide range of brain regions and promote the development of concentration, judgment, vocabulary, and more. The “Voice Percussion” experience at this event is a program that truly uses the whole body to “learn while playing with sound.” By tapping out rhythms using only their own voices and jamming with their peers, children naturally develop their sense of pitch, expressiveness, and ability to work with others. This invaluable experience, which combines play and learning, will be a major step in building the foundation for children’s future. =================== Parent-child experiences increase happiness https://edu.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1648824.html Recent research has shown that time spent engaging in “experiences” and “learning” together as a parent has a significant impact on a child’s happiness. Taking on new challenges and sharing emotions with their parents is said to have a positive effect on children’s self-esteem and the development of trusting relationships. This program provides time for parents and children to engage in voice percussion, “playing with sounds” and “expressing with voice.” We view this event as a platform for parent-child co-education, where moments of laughter and discovery as a family lead to future confidence and a sense of security, rather than simply acquiring knowledge. =================== The effects of vocalization (diaphragmatic movement) on the autonomic nervous system and development
http://repository.tokaigakuen-u.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/11334/303/1/kiyo_w016_06.pdf Research has shown that vocalization, especially vocalization while paying attention to rhythm, has the effect of balancing the autonomic nervous system. Vocal activity linked to breathing activates the diaphragm, leading to relaxation of the mind and body and improved concentration. The “voice percussion” you’ll experience in this program isn’t just for fun. Creating rhythm using your own voice and body is a valuable activity that fosters both inner stability and expressiveness. We hope to bring this element, which is gaining attention from both the perspectives of music and developmental support, to as many children as possible. =================== The impact of experiential learning on the brain’s cognitive level and judgment ability
https://www.jst.go.jp/pr/announce/20200831-2/pdf/20200831-2.pdf Recent research has shown that “experiential learning” dramatically improves the brain’s cognitive level and judgment abilities. Rather than simply receiving knowledge, experiential learning involves actually moving, thinking, and feeling. This activates the prefrontal cortex of the brain and promotes the development of creativity and problem-solving skills. Through voice percussion, this program offers children a truly hands-on, experiential learning experience, learning using the tools of their own voice and body. We hope that this will not only be fun, but also foster the ability to think in order to carve out a path for the future. ■ Crowdfunding Overview Purpose: Participation is free for students.
