Experience the charm of Japanese culture and art at “Shibu Art” affiliated facilities while strolling around the surrounding area. Bunkamura, a cultural complex operated by Tokyu Bunkamura Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) While most facilities are currently closed, we continue to promote culture and the arts in various locations, while also creating opportunities to deepen knowledge and cultivate culture, stimulate intellectual curiosity, and experience the joy of learning and experiencing culture and the arts. As part of this effort, we are collaborating with art museums and cultural facilities, primarily in the Shibuya area, to promote “Shibu Art,” an initiative that offers new cultural experiences in the Shibuya area. “Shibu Art” introduces art museums and cultural facilities in Shibuya and the surrounding area, which is attracting attention as an entertainment district and bustling with young people and international tourists, where visitors can experience high-quality art and traditional performing arts. We will be hosting a workshop with an instructor from the Niconico Hina Doll Hanging Decoration Workshop, which is dedicated to preserving and passing down the art of hanging Hina dolls in the Inatori area of Higashiizu Town. This interactive workshop allows you to experience the finishing process of “Hina Doll Hanging Decorations,” a tradition passed down from parent to child in Higashiizu Town, while enjoying chatting with local residents.
