The play depicts the world of Ihatov, as depicted by Miyazawa Kenji, set against the backdrop of the climate and culture of Tohoku. Through various encounters, the protagonists explore the meaning of accepting and connecting with each other despite their differences. The stage design and costumes incorporate art by HERALBONY contracted artists, and the audience can hold glowing balls in their hands, which change color in response to the story, creating a fantastical space. The performance offers a variety of viewing support options to ensure everyone can enjoy the show with peace of mind, including subtitles, audio guides, wheelchair seating, and “relaxed viewing etiquette” performances that allow children and people with disabilities to speak and move around freely.
